Project of victuals delivery to the internally displaced persons (IDPs) at carbala governorate:

 Alnahrain relief foundation for development carried out a project of victuals delivery to the internally displaced persons at carbala governorate in cooperation with (Arab forum for human development).

A team was formed for the project consists of:

*  Project Manager.

*  Procurement director.

*  Coordinator.

*  Deliverer.

*  Documentation staff.

*  Five employees.

 First step of the project was making a co-ordination with the city council of both Al-hussainyia area (28 K) north east carbala and Al-hur area (5 K) west carbala

According to this co-ordination the following groups has been chosen:

 a)      Al-hussainyia District: the IDPs founded in the centre of the district.

b)      Al-hussainyia District: the IDPs founded in Aown Bin Ali area.

c)      Al-hussainyia District: the IDPs founded in the rural area of the district.

d)     Al-hur District: the IDPs founded in the centre of the district.

e)      Al-hur District: the IDPs founded in the rural area of the district.

Second step of the project was buying the food stuff and dividing them into shares.

500 food shares were made each consist of:

1. Two cans of tomatopaste (one kilogram each)
2. Two bottle of cooking oil (one letter each)
3. Two pack of canned cheese
4. One can of cream (luna)
5. Half a kilo of tea
6. Half a kilo of dry pasta
7. Half a kilo of milk powder

Delivery process for the first three group (a, b and c group) Al-hussianyia district:

·         Date of delivery: Thursday 19/4/2007.

·         Centre of delivery: the youth centre at the district.

·         Time devoted for the delivery: Two hours for each group.

·         The process accompanied by police patrol for protection besides three members of the city council.

·         The share of food delivered to the IDP after checking his approval documentation which include:

a)      ID of the IDP

b)      The ration card of the area from which he was displaced.

c)      Housing card of the area from which he was displaced.

d)     Displacement approval report from department of displacement and migration at carbala governorate.

e)      Approval report from the city council shows that the recipient inhabitant the district of Al-hussianyia right now.

·         Total number of recipient was 300 IDP.

Delivery process for the last two group (d and e group) Al-hur district:

·         Date of delivery: Friday 20/4/2007.

·         Centre of delivery: the youth centre at the district.

·         Time devoted for the delivery: Two hours for each group.

·         The process accompanied by police patrol for protection besides three members of the city council.

·         The share of food delivered to the IDP after checking his approval documentation which include:

f)       ID of the IDP

g)      The ration card of the area from which he was displaced.

h)      Housing card of the area from which he was displaced.

i)        Displacement approval report from department of displacement and migration at carbala governorate.

j)        Approval report from the city council shows that the recipient inhabitant the district of Al-hur right now.

·         Total number of recipient was 200 IDP.

Each food share cost 10$ this include food stuff price and administrative salaries.

Finally, all thank to Allah that our project has been done properly, both the IDPs and the governmental bodies shown their appreciation to our foundation and the donated bodies.
